"The Late Late Show" host James Corden has had an impressive string of viral video hits thanks to the recurring "Carpool Karaoke" segment he's done with stars ranging from Stevie Wonder to Justin Bieber. Today, McDonald's UK is presenting a charming, crowdsourced, non-celebrity version of "Carpool Karaoke," featuring people from all over the United Kingdom singing British glam rock band Wizzard's 1973 hit "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" during their holiday travels.

The one-off ad -- created in partnership with Leo Burnett London, OMD UK and Razorfish, and directed by James Rouse -- is set to air during "Coronation Street." It's the culmination of McDonald's UK's "Journey to Christmas" campaign, which launched last month with an ad showing a young family singing the Wizzard holiday classic in their car. A social media campaign was deployed to encourage people to shoot and upload their own renditions, and today's ad was cut together from those user submissions.
