'Good luck on the 25th', says the brand in U.K. push

KFC is pitting chicken against turkey once again in its U.K. holiday campaign.
Whereas last year's ad literally saw a chicken and a turkey face off, Western-style, this year the brand opted for a series of 10-second animations that comedically depict the perils of cooking a turkey on the 25th.
Whether it's defrosting it; fitting it into your oven; trying to carve it with a chainsaw; rubbing it in fat or charring it to a cinder, the scenes all lead to an ultimate disaster scenario (like, it's so slippery it flies off into space and takes out a satellite). They then cut to a bucket of KFC and the caption: "Good luck on the 25th. Until then, we've got you." The funny ads are by Mother London, with direction by Golden Wolf via Stink.
“Burnt, overdone, chewy, dry… we’ve all got a turkey horror story," said Head of Advertising and Retail at KFC U.K. and Ireland Kate Wall in a statement. "And they’re usually enough to keep any family’s designated chef up all Christmas Eve. This year we wanted our Christmas campaign to take an irreverent, cheeky look at the ritual that has become ‘Christmas Turkey.’"
