More Silent Brilliance From the Whisky Brand

Having entertained us with 45 minutes of sitting silently by a log fire in Lagavulin's holiday campaign, Nick Offerman is back with more non-verbal action for the whisky brand, this time for Father's Day. This time, the "Parks and Recreation" actor and his real life Dad, Ric, go fishing and Offerman answers the question: "What do my Dad and I talk about on Father's Day?"

The pair sit in a canoe in manly silence, but their father-son "conversation" (covering such areas as bench-carving and joke-making) is hilariously captured in the subtitles, as well as some brilliantly expressive glances. This, it transpires, is because Lagavulin is a gift that "says all you need to say."

"Working with my Dad (aka my hero) was a sincere honor and a treat -- especially since all we had to do was go fishing," said Offerman in a statement. "And if people have enjoyed my stoic expressions, then I expect they're about to have their hats fly off when they lay eyes on the face of the august edifice from whence I sprung."
