Director Haley Geffen captures the women's joy at becoming moms as well as the ups and downs of their breastfeeding experiences in a series of interviews. The women are a diverse bunch, including one who became pregnant via IVF and a gay couple who both had babies at the same time.
New York creative studio Bodega created the film in honor of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7.) The film follows a Mother's Day ad by the same director for the brand.
Social media is becoming fertile ground for brands to create content appealing to moms that wouldn't have previously appeared in mainstream media. Other brands to have opened up about the difficulties and joys of breastfeeding recently include Medela, in a series of docu-style videos titled ThroughItAll.
