Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow ("Zero Dark Thirty" and "Hurt Locker" ) directs this powerful PSA about the illegal ivory trade.

The animated film shows the horrifying consequences of buying an ivory trinket, illustrating in reverse order the journey that brought the ivory to market. Incorporating real, horrific footage of the terrorist attack on Nairobi's Westgate Mall (the perpertrators were funded by the ivory trade), the film leads us backwards to the moment the elephant was shot.

It ends with the chilling message that elephants in the wild could be extinct in 11 years -- and there is no way to make extinction go backwards. Ms. Bigelow created the film alongside screenwriter Scott Z. Burns, out of Annapurna Pictures in association with WildAid. New Austin agency Preacher was behind the branding, design and web experience, where you can find out more and make a donation.
