Toronto-based agency GJP Advertising has unveiled a new site for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) that's hosted by a talking mime named Francois.
As French-flavored accordion sounds flow in the background, visitors can watch videos of Francois go on dates with three different women. Each woman is complemented by a different set of wines depending on her personality type, ranging from soft & subtle to big and bold. The videos conclude with each female giving their review of the date with Francois, who only speaks up when the topic is wine.
Visitors can also access info on any bottle within each style of wine such as tasting notes, the best food pairing and downloadable recipes. The site also features the mime's blog, which is updated on a weekly basis.
