American Legacy Foundation's Truth campaign shows that smokers are so totally undate-able in this music-video style ad out of 72andSunny that makes fun use of the "swipe left" function on Tinder.
Directed by music video vet Director X, and featuring Fifth Harmony and Becky G singing a catchy track, the film shows young singles checking hotties out on their dating apps. But when the singles spot the cigarette in the mouths or hands of the people on their phones, the prospective date's desirabilty goes way down. The song encourages them to "swipe left dat." The over-the-top visuals -- like a guy riding a porpoise on a rainbow -- also make it feel fun, not preachy.
