Campaign Will Also Feature Beavers

We've never seen a zebra go home improvement shopping before. But in this jaunty ad for U.K. home improvement chain B&Q, that happens.

The spot, by WCRS, sees our stripey protagonist complaining that his parents never used color, as they "lived their lives in black and white." Next we see him pushing a shopping cart round the store, choosing paint and decorating his pad rather tastefully. Dom & Nic at Ousider directed the spot, and The Mill is responsible for making the zebra look really quite realistic.

The ad, which will be followed next week by another spot featuring two beavers, launches in time for Easter, traditionally a key time for home redecoration in the U.K. It will run on Facebook as well as TV.
