The computer ain't the only thing that's personal, as a new feature on HP's website allows consumers to star in their own TV spot in Goodby, Silverstein & Partners' "The Computer is Personal Again" campaign. Using a cutting edge technology platform called Personivawhich merges consumer-provided imagery with branded content to create completely personalized experiencesthe "Lights, Camera, You" feature lets you follow in the footsteps (or hand gestures) of celebrities like Jay-Z, Shaun White and Mark Cuban, who've all sung the praises of personal computing in their own spots. "After watching the spots, it's human nature to think about what your own 'hand film' would contain, and what it would tell people about you that was new and interesting," says creative director Stephen Goldblatt. "The personalization feature is just that. It's an opportunity to create your own film and fill it with your own content."
