Comedian / rapper Lil Dicky gives the bling-filled rap video treatment to $4 meal deals in this spot for Carl's Jr..
Lil Dicky, whose real name is Dave Burd, is seen leaf-blowing money, caressing piggy banks and lying in a bath of pennies, while arguing that the only thing more ridiculous than using money to fan your face is the value in a $4 Real Deal, a combo that includes a spicy chicken sandwich, a double cheeseburger, small fries and a drink. The spot, by 72andSunny, was directed by Chris Applebaum at Fancy Content.
A former Goodby Silverstein & Partners account man, Burd is best known for his satirical rap video "$ave Dat Money" featuring Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan, that pairs the typical yacht, night club and mansion music-video scenes with lyrics about frugality and bargains.
