Clothes can be changed quickly, but hair takes a while. Richmond, Va., home to the filming of upcoming Steven Spielberg movie "Lincoln," saw many cast members walking around in regular clothes -- with hair from another era. Creatives from The Martin Agency, which calls the city its home, had the idea to create portraits of the extras from Lincoln.
Senior art producer Anya Mills and local photographer Adam Ewing shot 14 portraits in the style of Mathew Brady, a 19th century photographer who is known for portraits from the American Civil War era. The agency's CCO, Joe Alexander, created a gallery exhibit, titled "Lincoln Hair," at his agency, timed to coincide with the premiere of the movie. Even a couple of the shop's employees got in on the fun: The first two portraits are of planning director Mike Kelley and freelance copywriter Cedric Giese. See more images here.
