In the latest TV spot from McDonald's U.K, a couple on an first date struggle to find some common ground. While this could be grounds for a bunch of cliched faux pas, here it's more subtle and awkward -- she's not into his kind of art, she's a dog person, he's a cat person, they walk different sides of a ladder. It's sensitively directed by Bold's Sean Meehan and beautifully acted, and while you can probably guess the twist, it still manages to be surprisingly sweet.
Created by Leo Burnett London, the campaign promotes McDonald's Favorites, with the tagline "Good Times."
