American Apparel crowdsources, gets less porny.

Late last year, American Apparel teamed with lookbook site Lookbook.nu and asked the site's members to submit styles that featured American Apparel clothing. The company then sorted through nearly a thousand entries to create this 64-page Lookbook that features 132 looks from 77 Lookbook members.
The Lookbook is available free in stores and to online customers. Surprisingly, although the book is crowdsourced, its images are a lot less, um, seductive, than the brand's ongoing ad campaign.
