Burger King Is Giving Free Whoppers for Life to Anyone Named 'Grill' in Argentina
Those With Last Name 'Parrilla' Finally Get a Lucky Break

It must be kind of irritating to have the last name "Grill." But plenty of people in Argentina have the name "Parrilla," which translates as the same, and Burger King's latest campaign promoting its flame-grilled burgers is to empathize with these poor folks who have to listen to jokes about meat and BBQs all the time.
The "Las Parillas" campaign, by agency David, features various people named Parrilla complaining about their name, and all the things they have put up with. (The agency put out the call via social media and gathered 300 of them together for a party in order to find the best tales). Then, Burger King gave each of them a letter offering them free Whoppers for life.
The offer really is open to all named Parrilla living in Argentina (of which David estimates there are around 12,000) -- they just need to turn up at a branch with their ID and register.
