Verizon is promoting the introduction of higher wireless speeds with its new Verizon LTE Advanced technology with a spot in which the visuals are broadcast on a wall of different mobile devices' screens.

The ad, by McCann New York, sets out the scale of the technology -- which brings 50 per cent faster speeds to mobile users in 461 U.S. cities -- by stating that Americans didn't set out to build the "good enough" Canyon or write the "good enough" American novel.

Tomi Dieguez and Bob Partington of 1stAveMachine directed the ad; Partington in particular is a veteran of technologically spectacular shoots, for brands including Stella Artois and music videos for the likes of OK Go.
