Bacon Brand Bizarrely Uses Cute Baby Pig to Hawk its Wares in Norwegian Spot

A little girl gets a squeaky, cute little birthday present from her family in a new spot for Grilstad bacon, directed by Jesper Ericstam at Social Club. The present -- an adorable baby pig -- ends up not being the best animal to have around the house, as the dad in the family soon finds.

Cut to a fun sequence that features, among other things, a wonderful shot of the dad gloomily staring out of some French windows at his little girl, watching her play with the animal that's become the bane of his existence. But it's the payoff for the spot, featuring the dad cooking up a delicious breakfast for the whole family, that really makes this a fun watch -- although we're not sure how much bacon will be sold once consumers realize that the fatty strips actually come from an animal that's actually pretty darn cute.
