Gaming brand Konami invades the mobile space with its new game Yie Ar Kung Fu, aided by a microsite developed by Cali agency moreYELLOW.
Beginning as an arcade game, Oolong is a Van Damme-styled Bloodsport tale about our hero becoming the ultimate champion by defeating a series of martial arts masters. The microsite features three Kung Fu videos that can be customized by the users, who can upload headshots of themselves and a friend to star as the Kung Fu characters. The site utilizes Actionscript and PHP programming to manipulate user-uploaded images into the size and shape of the faces of the characters in the video. The images are then overlayed on the videos using timeline-based animations.
