Doing your accounting can have horrific effects, warns this banking ad

Norway's Vipps payment brand is back with another surreal spot

Norway's DNB Bank introduced its Vipps payment brand last year in a bizarre ad in which a woman deflates like a balloon rather than get up from the sofa to use her credit card.

Now, the brand is back with another surreal take on the frustration of banking without its technology. In the latest spot by agency Pol, directed again by Bacon's Matias & Mathias duo, a man is doing his invoicing at home one night and finding it more and more fiddly and frustrating. It seems to be taking a turn into the horror genre as his partner calls him and he refuses to turn around -- you just know that something horrible is about to happen.

When he does turn, it's kind of gross, but his partner has calming advice for what he should be doing instead. That would be using Vipps, like she does.
