A mom can't help drop unsubtle hints about babies to her daughter in an emotive new ad from McDonald's in Australia.

The ad, by DDB Sydney and directed by Finch's Christopher Riggert, features a mom who clearly can't wait to be a grandma and her adult daughter who rolls her eyes as she talks about babies and says, "You'll make a great mom one day." Mom stares at cradles in store windows and secretly save the baby toys from being thrown out, as well as mentioning her own pregnancy cravings. Through it all, the daughter seems to be ignoring the heavy hints, but there's a final reveal, involving the Golden Arches and an unusual food combo, as she visits her mom for Mother's Day. 

It's set to an emotive rendition of the Elvis classic "Can’t Help Falling In Love with you" by Haley Reinhart. Though clearly made pre-lockdown, it might bring a tear to the eyes of anyone missing their mom this Mother's Day—however irritating they can be.
