After a night of hard partying, McDonald's eases New Zealanders into the new year

With Uber Eats, there's one less thing to manage during a champagne hangover

To all the partiers who may still be recuperating from New Year’s Eve festivities, McDonald’s understands. Sometimes it takes a day of dreamless, coma-like sleep to recover from a night filled with debauchery and celebration.

Shield your eyes from the sun and pick yourself up off the floor. Trudge home in what’s left of your best outfit, and wash whatever that taste is out of your mouth. Collect the detritus of a successful ode to auld lang syne and please, please wash your face.

But don’t look for something to eat, because Uber Eats can bring McDonald’s to your door. A meditative 60-second short film from DDB New Zealand details the aftermath of the islands’ end-of-year carousing, gently reminding viewers (not too loudly, okay?) that McDelivery has been around since 2017--and will be there for them in 2019, too.
