Following last year's humorous "Prime Changes Everything" campaign that imagined Rapunzel and Cleopatra using Amazon Prime accounts to their advantage, the brand is back with a couple of fun new ads providing alternative storylines to famous historical and mythical figures.

This time it's Medusa and Napoleon who benefit from the world of instant e-commerce. Medusa finds turning people into stone whenever she looks at them is "a bit of a buzzkill," so she orders a pair of sunglasses with Prime's one-day delivery and is finally able to show off her fun side. Of course, she can still give killer looks when she wants to. Nicki Minaj’s  “Chun-Li” provides a punchy soundtrack.

In the second spot, Napoleon, bored and "over it" when it comes to conquering his enemies, watches "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" on Prime Video and realizes his true calling is actually comedy. He orders a microphone, allowing him to even make jokes about his height (rather than fighting people to compensate for it).

The ads, once again created by Joint London and directed by Wayne McClammy at Hungry Man, deftly use the simple comedic premise to deliver a clear product message.

They broke on U.S. TV over the holiday week, and are running on social media from today.
