Valet parking guys get a (final) chance to mess with your car in this Mercedes spot
Ad from Antoni Garage warns their days are numbered as it promotes its future driverless parking tech
Editor's Pick
Your worst fears about what valet parking guys get up to with your car are revealed in a new spot from Mercedes-Benz—but their days of fun are numbered.
The spot, from German agency Antoni Garage, shows a trio of carefree attendants getting up to no good with Mercedes-Benz models. They put their feet on the dashboard, try to park blindfolded, have a dance party, set off the car alarm and end up getting chased by the cops.
However, the twist in the tale is a final voiceover that says: "Sorry, guys. These times might be over soon. Thanks to the new S-Class with future ready technology." It explains that Mercedes' Intelligent Park Pilot function will be available as soon as laws and infrastructure allow. The function allows for driverless parking via a smartphone app and was announced by Mercedes at the official premiere of the S-Class last September.
The film was directed by Pantera and shot in Uruguay; it's running globally on social media platforms.
