Ahead of her performances at last night's MTV VMA's, Rihanna debuted this stunning VFX-driven film on social media that depicted her body morphing, elementally, in insanely effected ways.
First, she appears to be dripping in a molten, graphite material, which then becomes overrun by bright green plant-like feathers that explode into thousands of little orbs. The film announced Rihanna as this year's Video Vanguard and opening act of the 2016 VMAs. It was created in collaboration with Swedish-based artist Ashraf Khoffash, aka Panda Gunda.
The film is reminiscent of another stunning promo we saw earlier this year, for the AICPS's annual awards out of Method Studios and directed by Rupert Burton.
