As the UK prepares to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee this weekend, augmented reality developers AR Works have launched MyRoyalCorgi, an app which allows you to train a virtual version of one of the monarch's favorite canines.

Users need to hold their iPad or iPhone over a UK banknote featuring the to start the process (for those not in the UK, you can download copies of the notes here. They can train the corgi in different moves, stroking and feeding it to reward it - and for real royalists, they make it learn how to salute the Queen herself.
