Fans of German rapper Kontra K can uncover clues to solve a murder mystery in an intearctive film for his song "Next to You."

Unit9 Director Maximilian Niemann and producer Gerrit Klein worked with Berlin music label Four Music to create the video, co-produced with Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, to Music label to launch Kontra K's latest album "Labyrinth."

The film, which is set at a remote lake house where a fisherman finds himself at the center of a crime scene, allows fans to jump between the past and the present so that they can uncover clues to solve the murder mystery. As viewers investigate the crime scene, they are encouraged to tap their phone (if viewing on mobile) or press the spacebar (if viewing on desktop) to interact with the film. Viewers can choose to see the present or the past, and there are clues hidden throughout the video, both in the past and the present, that they can look out for and follow. Depending on how many of them they find, the video can have three different endings.

It's exciting stuff, and beautifully filmed as well (not sparing on the blood and gore), and we wonder if it could start a new trend in the music video world.
