As the Lakers' five-time NBA champ Kobe Bryant prepares to retire, the tributes have been pouring out. There was Apple's lighthearted ad in which actor Michael B. Jordan takes the piss out of a big sappy farewell by basically calling Kobe a geezer of Benjamin Button proportions, and a more gripping one from Nike in China, where he seems to be a superstar bordering on a god.

Nike Basketbal hasl also debuted this simple, yet powerful film in which giants of the sports world, including Tiger Woods, LeBron James, Phil Jackson, Serena Williams, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Paul Rodriguez, Clay Matthews, Michelle Wie, Rory McIlroy, Kevin Durant, recount what they love, or what they love to hate, about the athlete also known as "Black Mamba."

The film breaks just ahead of April 13, what Nike's dubbed Mamba Day, the day of Kobe Bryant's final game.
