As if B to B marketing could get any more outrageous. Following Volvo's newsmaking revival of action star Jean Claude Van Damme's career, Nissan is the latest marketer to bring fireworks to this sector of advertising with a new campaign starring Poison frontman Bret Michaels singing a totally unexpected tune: a cover of "Endless Love."

Ini a music video directed by Pretty Bird's Ace Norton, Mr. Michaels croons a hard rock version of the classic Lionel Richie and Diana Ross duet to the automaker's fleet of commercial NV vans as they endure various obstacles such as shakes, salt spray, heat and more.

Conceived by TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles, the clip serves as the centerpiece of the campaign promoting the commercial line. It sends viewers to the Nissan Tough Love site , where viewers can also see more films of Mr. Michaels explaining the various features of the vans.
