JetBlue Creates Office-Themed Souvenirs to Remind You to Take a Vacation

Choose a Printer Snowglobe or a Human Resources Scented Candle

JetBlue is encouraging people to take a vacation with a range of ironic "souvenirs" that remind them how much time they spend at the office.

The Office Souvenirs line, created by the airline's agency Mullen Lowe, reimagines typical souvenir shop trinkets like snowglobes, candles, keychains, mugs and clothing with an office theme, to "reflect the memories we're busy making at the office instead of on vacation." For example, there's a Human Resources scented candle or the Water Cooler branded water bottle, both of which feature in shoppable Instagram posts. Other items include a "Memorable Bagels" commemorative plate, a printer in a snow globe and a baseball cap adorned with the message "Don't forget to CC me."

The items are available to buy online, and JetBlue also took them to an office building in NYC's Financial District to hand them out to workers. Production company NA Collective also worked on the campaign.

It's the latest of a series of innovative summer campaigns by the agency encouraging New Yorkers to book flights. In July, it surprised New Yorkers with an interactive outdoor activation on Broadway in which a phone rang, inviting them for a weekend in Bermuda. It also created Little Tickets, a campaign in which kids got to choose the family vacation via a pint-sized travel agency.
