John Lewis : The Other Half
No matter when or where.
Editor's Pick
John Lewis "Through the Ages," which took us through seven different eras to show all the goods the retailer has provided for us over the years, to "The Long Wait," which chronicled the impatience of a little boy as he counts down the days to Christmas.
Now, along with Adam&Eve DDB and Ringan Ledwidge, the brand has premiered "The Other Half," its 90-second film that shows that despite the passage of time, some things -- like true love -- never really change. Set to a re-recording of INXS "Never Tear Us Apart," the film follows a pair of lovers from very different eras. The split-screen thing has of course been done before, most notably for Nokia, by JW Griffiths, but this is still a sweet, heartwarming piece of work.
