Walmart is definitely appealing to parents who were '80s teens with this back-to-school spot featuring kids rocking out to Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again."
The spot, by Saatchi & Saatchi New York, sees the kids saying goodbye to summer camp and the pool as the leaves start to fall, and then happily picking out all their new back-to-school kit ready for the new school year, before heading off on the bus. Though it's more likely in real life these kids would be marching off to Katy Perry or Justin Bieber, parents will appreciate both the positivity and poignance of the spot (can it really be Fall already?). The tagline is "Own the First Day."
