Taking place in New York’s Lower East side, this year’s Pandora 5th annual “Sounds Like You” concert treated listeners to an unforgettable free music event with headliners tailored to the city’s particular musical preferences as well as a one of its kind Brand activation souvenir.
Ty Dolla $ign, SZA, and Post Malone topped the bill at the ‘Winter Wonderland” themed venue, where over two thousand fans lucky enough to get in were treated to an experience of a lifetime with live dancers, gifts, and ice sculptures.
Pandora commissioned Digital Experiential agency, NEXT/NOW, to create a customizable photo concert activation where a series of questions algorithmically formed an individualized projection mapped backdrop that featured fans’ names and favorite artist from the evening’s line-up. Questions included fans’ excitement levels and favorite parts of Pandora services.
From the moment they opened the doors, till the concert ended 4½ hrs later, nearly 1200 fans queued up for the personalized souvenir and shareable memory while also providing Pandora with local actionable metrics, making the Personalized Moment Activation a layered success.
