Brand Promotes Cookie As A Dessert Ingredient In Brazilian Holiday Campaign

Panettone is an Italian holiday tradition huge in Brazil. The sweet bread loaf served during Christmas and New Year is often filled with candied fruit and raisins, but Brazilians have put their own spin on it with chocolate drops and other fillings. Oreo decided to take this spin a little further introducing the "Panetone de Oreo" in Brazil, along with other desserts using the cookie as an ingredient, like brigadeiros (a sort of chocolate truffle), cheesecake, brownies and more.
In this animated spot, created by Brazilian agency LOV, the festive new version of the treat is shown baked, beautiful and looking fabulously yummy, only to be deconstructed piece by piece, until the first and foremost ingredient appears: an Oreo cookie.
The campaign includes the website FizComOreo ("I Made it With Oreo"), where consumers can create visual posts with the cookie and check the full recipes. They are also encouraged to share their own Oreo creations on social media with the hashtag #fizcomoreo and the best recipes will be posted in the site.
