Pedigree Has Made the 'Lost Dog' Poster Work a Whole Lot Faster
Campaign via Colenso BBDO Makes Smart Use of Google Display Network
Editor's Pick
Pedigree and Colenso BBDO, New Zealand have made the "Lost Dog" poster work a whole lot faster, with the help of some Google tech. The app "Pedigree Found" invites pet owners to register their pups to the service, which will create a "lost dog" ad that's ready to go if your pooch wanders away. If (god forbid) that should happen, owners can use the app to send out the geo-targeted "poster" to people nearby. It will then go out across the Google Display Network over a 1.5 mile radius, along with push notifications to others registered with the service. Basically, according to the brand, it's "a lost dog poster that can move faster than the lost dogs themselves."
The campaign launches on April 15 in New Zealand and New Zealand dog owners can download the app in the Apple App Store and from Google Play.
The agency-client partners are no strange to pet innovations and also were behind this fascinating campaign that leveraged 3D cinema technology.
