Brazilian group deals website, Peixe Urbano, is aiming to create a mosaic of a fish made out of a thousand people in Salvador, in a stunt that aims to demonstrate collective buying in physical form. The more people that take part, the bigger the discount off tickets to the local Festival de Verao de Salvador music festival. The campaign is through Espalhe Marketing de Guerilha (the agency behind Hall's Green Grape sculptures), one of Creativity's picks of 2011 for design.
Peixe Urbano plans to gather the crowd on Praia da Aleluia beach in Bahia this Saturday (January 21st). To take part, people need to register on its Facebook page. ( If registration is no longer available through the app, they still get a chance participate by going to Praia da Aleluia beach on the day of the event. The first 200 people to arrive at the location will be able to take part and get access to the discount).
