U.K. energy brand SSE came under fire when it introduced a CGI orangutan as the face of its brand in 2014, with some accusing the utility of being "deeply manipulative." You may see why in the brand's latest ad, which will likely make you fall in love with the sad-faced primate Maya, who gazes in awe at the wonderful, light-fllled sights afforded by a fairground on a seaside pier.

The follow-up spot was gorgeously shot, likely to suck viewers into the carnival offerings as well. Created out of Adam & Eve/DDB, it was directed by Frederic Planchon, the man behind AT&T's disturbing, eye-opening "It Can Wait-Close to Home" film. Like the previous ad, the backing track, Nat King Cole's "When I Fall in Love," enhances the romance of it all. CGI by The Mill is so realistic the viewer really will be wondering how they filmed it.
