We’ve all heard those résumé tips—include job description keywords (or hide them in your margins) that HR software is looking for; leave off your graduation year; maybe use scented paper à la Elle Woods.

Or you could send the hiring manager a pizza.

That is the idea behind Pizza Hut’s ResZAmes, an offering that will print your résumé on a pizza box that is then delivered (with a medium cheese pizza inside) to companies as a way for you to stand out from the applicant pool. The work, from Mischief @ No Fixed Address, comes during the time of year known as the “September surge” when there is a notable increase in open jobs across industries at the start of the fourth quarter.

ResZAmes will be delivered only in New York City. Customers who want their credentials printed on a box should visit ResZAmes.com, enter the ZIP code of the headquarters of their desired future employer, and then put in their résumé. Pizza Hut will select a number of winners to have their résumé box hand-delivered. Entry ends Sept. 22.

“We know finding a job can be daunting especially during this key hiring season, so we wanted to lend a hand to our job seeking customers and help them break through the clutter,” said Melissa Friebe, Pizza Hut’s chief marketing officer. “By combining Pizza Hut’s iconic pizza boxes with job seekers’ résumés, we are hoping to help résumés drum up the same excitement as office pizza and help the applicant make a lasting impression. Who could possibly ignore a résumé when it is delivered as a delicious pizza?”
