Coke Plays Tricks on Your Eyes in Print Work for PlantBottle
Ogilvy Promotes Recyclable Bottle
Jun 09, 2014
Coke and Ogilvy New York uses clever optical illusions to promote the beverage brand's "PlantBottle," the first fully recyclable PET plastic bottle made partially out of plants. Four ads each use color and shape to create different images: one features two hands holding a plant, with negative space that shows a bird with a plant in its beak. Another makes it look like leaves are fluttering in the wind, while a third features a kiss between two heads, with the space in between creating the shape of a flower.
