Tribal DDB seems to have a knack for turning music into digital experiences. For Philips, it created last year an interactive musical experience that let you listen to the Grammy-award winning Metropole Orchestra, and single out each musician to hear details of their individual tracks.
Now, it partners with B-Reel, and director Anders Hallberg for "Play the Road," an app (that isn't, unfortunately, available commercially yet) that will turn the VW Golk FTI into a musical instrument -- playing music according to your driving. "Play the Road," the film, features driver Thomas Wulff, who uses the app to make amazing music (by band Underworld) that is controlled by his speed and steering.
