This Enterprising Agency Is Trying to Bring Creativity to Craigslist
Brooklyn-Based Trio Select Random Postings, Make Ads for Free

Most Craiglist ad postings are pretty basic. Let's face it, the online marketplace has never been a hotbed of fancy creative work. That's what inspired three enterprising creatives from New York to set up a Craigsagency, a mini agency that will create your Craigslist ad -- and what's more, for free.
Freelance art director George Widodo and his two friends Copywriter Chris Wilson and Strategist Alvito Tarjono came up with the idea when they were living together in Brooklyn and looking for furniture on Craiglist. "We found everything looked the same so we decided to help users switch it up," Widodo said.
At first the trio selected strange postings and gave themselves 48 hours to come up with a strategy and creative for the random clients. They include this fun campaign for a Pokemon Go catcher, and some more provocative images for a foot modeling agency. Widodo says feedback from clients has been positive so far -- and you can now submit your Craiglist ad to the agency for consideration on the website.
