Just How Does Fast Internet Save This Kid's Request for a Pony?
Charter Shows How It Helps Deal With Life's Curveballs in New Humorous Spots
Editor's Pick
Cable firm Charter is back with some new spots in its ongoing humorous campaign through Saatchi & Saatchi New York, including this one where some parents are suddenly hit by the realization that they failed to organize a pony for their daughter's birthday party. Luckily their high speed internet is there to save the day (well, kind of).
All the spots, directed by Bart Timmer of Interrogate, make a decent job of demonstrating what Charter has to offer, but with a comedic spin based on dealing with life's curveballs in unexpected ways.
Other new spots in the campaign include one featuring a skateboarder who's broken 23 bones, but is happy that his fall has gone viral -- and at least he can lie in bed and watch cable in his full body cast. There's also a spot featuring a group of guys who want to watch the game, but their wives have taken over the man cave. Luckily, thanks to Charter they can watch it in another room -- the "she shed." A final spot aimed at businesses shows how Charter can help make your business a serious one; even if you're doing something like making dog hats.
