Editor's Pick

The tumultous journey of a New Zealand dollar coin is told via Colenso BBDO in a new spot for BNZ -- the Bank of New Zealand. Directed by The Glue Society (Gary Freedman,) the spot is a continuation of a campaign by the bank that started last year, and hopes to inspire people with the power of money and the good it can do, especially if it keeps circulating. The story of that dollar, whose life expectancy is 30 years, is told from its birth inside a mint, and followed -- showing how it does good when used for charity (the Red Cross) how it can propel joy when used inside a jukebox, and how it can languish when lost inside the abyss created by plush couch cushions. The idea is to show how money doesn't lose its power even after it leaves your hands.
