Ikea is now poking fun at GDPR

Retailer reminds it's been protecting privacy all along

If something major happens in the world (like if Balenciaga drops a new bag, a famous painting sells or there's a royal wedding) for sure we can expect Ikea to say something about it. The retailer's Creative Hub and Swedish shop Acne have had plenty of fun inserting the brand into the pop culture conversation with various social posts, and the arrival of GDPR is the latest target.

Ikea would like to remind you that while the European Union is now buckling down on protecting your data, the retailer has worked to ensure your privacy all along--with offerings like its Risor room divider. "Finally, internet is catching up with real life," the post reads.
