, who's also repped out of Caviar for spots, have raised the bar on creepy creatures in this new spot for Progressive, promoting the brand's usage-based insurance program Snapshot.
The blowfish-like creatures are parasites that cling to car windshields and serve as a metaphor for drivers whose bad habits you end up subsidizing with your own high rates. With Progressive's Snapshot, however, drivers attach a small device to their vehicles that tracks their good-or bad-road performance, and adjusts rates according to those drivers' specific behavior. The new spot is part of a new national campaign complementing the brand's Superstore campaign, fronted by spokesgal Flo, but we'll take these guys over her any day.
