Audi: Quattro Ice Track Challenge

Mattias Ekstrom and Timo Scheider - two DTM champions who still have a score to settle. Their racing cars: two Audi RS 6 Avant quattro. Who will win?

In January this year, Audi launched the #quattrochallenges-- a series of internet films, in which the legendary four-wheel drive takes on new challenges. In the first episode an Audi SQ5 pulled freeskier Roy Kittler over several ski jumps and snow obstacles.

Now Audi is launching the next challenge. This time the story is about the two-time DTM champions Mattias Ekstrom and Timo Scheider. Both drivers are not only long-time friends, but also sporting rivals. The Swede Ekstrom with banters his teammate and friend Scheider for a race of a special kind in his homeland. Therefore, a racetrack has been carved out of a frozen lake that demands everything from both drivers. It is the perfect location to get in the mood for the upcoming DTM season in two Audi RS 6 Avant quattro with 560 hp.

The film was shot near the Swedish town of Arvidsjaur with film production ZIGGY mediahouse and director Alexander Gerlts.
