A group of non-profits recently held a "brand jamming" contest as part of their "Raise the Bar, Hershey! campaign to bring awareness to the issue of child labor in the candymaker's supply chain.

The Grand Prize winner, Jason Pearson created this video, which asks, Where do kisses come from? and provides the unappetizing answer.

Green America, Global Exchange and the International Labor Rights Forum created the campaign to bring attention to what they assert is Hershey's failure to eliminate child labor and other abuses from its cocoa supply chain.

Global Exchange Fair Trade Director Adrienne Fitch Frankel said, in a statement: "Hershey shareholders deserve to know the facts: Hershey has failed to eliminate child and forced labor from its cocoa supply chain, nearly a decade after committing to do so. This creates a dangerous level of risk for investors, and an intolerable situation for the children affected.

We recently posted another call for action to chocolate companies, LMFM's Choco-Coat It.
