See How TK Maxx Gave One Family a Snowy White Christmas
The Retailer Makes Good on Its Christmas Ad Promise
Editor's Pick
In TK Maxx's Christmas ad, the retailer promised to deliver a real "White Christmas" to lucky customers who found hidden snowglobes hidden in its stores.
It's now made good on the promise (if a little earlier than Dec. 25) and filmed it for a second ad, seen here, depicting the Markham family, along with their friends and neighbors, enjoying the manufactured snow on the lawn outside their house, making snow angels and having snowball fights (and not hiding the fact that the surrounding area is completely snow-free).
Airing from Dec. 13, the new spot, by Wieden & Kennedy London, once again features a hilariously deadpan voiceover by Bill Nighy. "Some say that's what Christmas is all about. Changing the weather in an isolated area for a 48 hour period," he opines. We couldn't agree more.
