Elizabeth Banks brings her brand of perky, verging-on-crazy charm to a new campaign for Realtor.com, created by Pereira & O'Dell New York. The spots, which introduce a new tagline, "Real Estate in Real Time," were produced by Uber Content and directed by former "Wonder Years" actor Fred Savage (who's building up quite a directorial portfolio, with episodes of "Modern Family" and other shows to his name as well as commercials for the likes of Honda).
In this spot, Banks obsesses over features of the Realtor.com site to the point where she wants to move in with the guy who's browsing it, while a second spot sees her singing the praises of the Realtor.com app. A series of web videos, also featuring Ms. Banks, will break later. In a statement, the actress said: "I'm a little house-obsessed and looking for a new home right now, which made the opportunity to work with Realtor.com a great fit."
The campaign also introduces a new graphic identity for the brand, which sees the "real" in realtor.com in bright red letters with rest of the name in black.
