Soon after Donald Trump's much-buzzed-about caught-on-camera remark to Brigitte Macron last week -- in which he told the French first lady, "You're in such good shape beautiful," Reebok stepped into the conversation with this "handy" flow-chart.
Although it doesn't directly tweet at @RealDonaldTrump, it's obvious it's schooling the POTUS as to exactly when it is appropriate to say such things to a woman -- most decidedly, not "when you're a world leader greeting the spouse of a head of state," the chart points out.
The only time it is okay? When you've found "a forgotten action figure from your youth, unscathed after decades, in your parents' basement," it says.
Reebok's gotten plenty of love for the Tweet, with 82,000+ likes so far. Social media, of course, has been all over it, with some chiming in in support of Trump. @DeaconTomLang, for example, earned 1.7 thousand likes for his response: "I must have missed the Reebok chart on how Bill Clinton should treat women in the Oval Office."
@Bert_Kallio also shot back at Reebok: "Just what I needed today, a sporting goods company lecturing me on when I can compliment a woman like @hannahbleau_ ..." But @SharonCathcart chimed back, "Pro-tip: That's not a compliment, it's sexual harassment. Compliments are things like 'What a nice dress.'"
