Work from home, return to office and burnout have been the buzzwords of the past few years. RVshare, a home share service for RVs, is adding vacation to the mix with its latest campaign, “Use Your Outside Voice,” made with agency Copacino Fujikado.
The popularity of domestic travel grew during the pandemic as WFHers craved time outside of the home office. And as international travel costs rise due to the war in Ukraine, RVshare has ramped up its business even further in 2022, already upping booking revenue nearly 40% over last year (although inflation has had a similar effect on the price to fill up an RV).
The “Use Your Outdoor Voice” spot, directed by Farm League’s Janssen Powers, begins with a worker wrapping up a business Zoom. The twist: when he shuts off his laptop, it’s revealed his professional bookcase backdrop is a poster set up outside an RV.
The video shows travelers bellowing not into the digital abyss of video chats, but hearing their shouts of joy echo across mountains, lakes and over campfires. The ad, and shorter variants of it, will run on social and digital channels.
Alongside the spot, Copacino Fujikado designed new branding for RVshare, including a new logo, color palette and illustrations to accompany the brand’s repositioning, beginning with “Use Your Outside Voice.”
