'Black Mirror' Director Brings Eerie Touch to This Freaky Eyecare Spot

U.K. optical care brand Optrex opted for a futuristic approach in its new ad for eye spray, enlisting director Owen Harris, who has helmed episodes of cult Netflix show "Black Mirror" to illustrate the dangers of "screen eyes."

The ad, by Havas London, sees zombie-like professionals going to work with two phones screens instead of eyes, as the narrator tells us "screen eyes...they're everywhere." Though the freaky, "Doctor Who"-style scenario is somewhat spoiled by the standard product sales pitch that follows it, it's an interesting way to promote that the product (ActiMist 2in1 Dry + Irritated Eye Spray) restores your eyes' natural moisture.
